Clinton Wood is continually searching for new techniques
in his art and every painting is an experiment in some form - as a result
at the moment he does not have a particular style that one would say is
associated with being Clinton Wood as yet! He is still searching to find
the right medium, style and use of colour that will portray his feelings
in his works of art.
Wood wants to show the world, through his art, what he is about, his
emotions and feelings. Depending who is viewing the art, some may be
critical or some may be purely appreciative of the work on a decorative
level, he hopes that his art has elements of being a good investment and
pure enjoyment for the buyers.

Clinton hopes that this combination shows when they hang a painting on
their walls not just for the buyer to enjoy but for whoever looks at it
hanging in their living spaces.Wood has always had a passion to create,
whether it is on a canvas or in his professional field of design. He has
worked in the design field after doing a 3 year Graphic Design course in
Johannesburg. Today he is happy that he is living the dream of both,
working in the field of design and following the passion of putting paint
on canvas and creating works of art. He works mainly in acrylic and mixed
media.
Clinton has previously held an exhibition of his work at Cafe Manhattan
Green Point in September 2006, which was received favorably. He has had
paintings on exhibition locally and internationally and has paintings in
private collections both in South Africa and abroad. Clinton has also
contributed to an international art exhibition with the theme of Oncology,
which is traveling around the world.
