Matters Conceptual explores the art form in which there is
an extraordinary emphasis on ideas. The result is a kind of art which has
its most complex existence in the minds of the artists and their audience.
These artworks require a new kind of attention and mental participation
from the viewer. It also requires a new approach to installing and
presenting exhibitions.

Matters Conceptual invites the viewer to follow the
production process and progress of the exhibition by joining us for drinks
(and mental aerobics) every Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm during
the month of April.
Matters Conceptual features works by Lynette Bester, Brendhan Dickerson,
Kilmany-Jo Liversage, Jennifer Lovemore-Reed, Nomthunzi Mashalaba, Haidee
Nel, Elize O'Connor, Norman O'Flynn & Barbara Wildenboer
