Let a glass of sherry and some wonderful music in a cosy setting warm you up this winter as talented young singers Magdalene Minnaar (Soprano) and Sunnyboy Dladla (Tenor) present a programme of Bel Canto Opera gems in a programme compiled and accompanied by Albert Combrink (Piano). Opera stages abound with Dangerous Liaisons. Lovers can be as violent as seductive. Young ladies come up with elaborate scams to blind the powers-that-be to their machinations and hot blooded young men risk life and limb to be there for a secret tryst.

Let these two acclaimed young singers entertain you with a delightful romp through the intrigue of well-known and lesser-known operas. Both singers have made impressive appearances in Opera: Turandot, Don Giovanni, Manon, La Scala di Seta, Le Nozze di Figaro, to name only a few. The programme includes solo piano works by Chopin, exploring the influence of Bel Canto Opera on his style.
