Don your Dolce and slip on your Jimmy Choos as one of the
hottest style events on the South African glamour calendar is about to
debut in the Mother City. In late October 2009, MasterCard Style in the
City, an up-market, City focused fashion and beauty event, which Brand
Events has successfully launched in Birmingham and Dublin, is coming to
South Africa.
The four day festival of fashion, beauty, health and girlie
gadgets will play host to fabulous fashion-duo Trinny and Susannah, made
famous by BBC’s ‘What not to Wear’ and more recently ‘Undress the Nation’,
who will be entertaining South African audiences with their Style Academy
in an all new interactive fashion event that has already proved its
popularity internationally.

The V&A Waterfront plays host to MasterCard Style in the
City with features including The Style Studio, The Health Hub, The Pamper
Parlour and the Gadget Gallery. All things gastronomical can be found at
MasterCard Style in the City’s Food Fair and if partying is your thing,
then The VIP Lounge is the place for you! With so much on offer, it is
essential to purchase a Style List – your bible and show guide to keep in
your designer bag! Take advantage of benefits from each feature and
purchase a Platinum Package – the plushest package on offer.
Guests should plan to be there for a couple of hours to
enjoy all the style on offer. Tickets to MasterCard Style in the City
cost from R230 for a standard ticket purchased with your MasterCard and
R270 for a standard ticket. A Platinum Package costs R1200 and includes
front row seats at the Show, entry into the VIP Lounge, complimentary
