The Sunday
Island Market is Cape Town's first indoor design &
lifestyle market and showcases some of
South Africa’s top up and coming fashion, jewelry and interior designers,
as well as a series of exciting lifestyle exhibitions and activities.
The Sunday Island Market is located on
the 1st and 2nd floors of Northgate Island - Cape Town’s largest home and
lifestyle centre - which is situated on the N1 Highway, next to Ysterplaat
Airforce Base and alongside the M5 highway.

The best of South Africa’s design talent
will be on show every Sunday between 10:00 and 14:00. Over 100 décor, art,
furniture, fashion, crafts and jewellery stalls are on display as well as
a weekly bridal expo featuring bridal gowns, venues and catering options.
The Sunday Island Market will also
provide entertainment for the whole family. It will feature interactive
food and wine demos from top local chefs and established winemakers and
kids can play and be entertained at the supervised “Treasure Cove”.
Additional attractions include an authentic beach bar with a Marimba band
as well as other live music. Both entrance to the market and parking is
free to the public.
