Badilisha! Poetry X-Change once again hosts four international poets in collaboration with a range of local poets and multi-disciplinary artists for a jam-packed one week poetry exchange in various venues in the Cape Town CBD from 18th to 25th May.

In the spirit of this project’s commitment to facilitating multi-layered conversation and transformation of poetic spaces and audiences, the Badilisha! Live 2010 programme will include: X-Cavate - a series of master classes as well as two nights of performance on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd and weekday showcases, readings, screenings and open discussions.

Badilisha’s 2nd Africa Day celebration on May 25th hosts the featured poets and local participants from the master classes in a lunchtime feast of word and sound. Featured poets can also be enjoyed on Badilisha! Poetry Radio, the new online Pan African Poetry podcasting platform.
