This 14-day event kicks off on 16 December 2006 with a procession from the Central City Improvement District (CCID) offices in Bree Street where representatives of the Cape Town Partnership, CCID and City of Cape Town will be dancing their way into Adderley Street where the Adderley Street Night Market will officially be opened. The 2006 theme for the Night Market is “Fourteen Nights of Festive Frenzy” and this is carried through the market from the products, food, entertainment and craft for the 14 nights from 16 - 30 December excluding 25 December.

Awesome prizes for the winners and runners-up are up for grabs.
