the previous fair – and much more!

with exciting rides from Funtime Amusements as well as a mini train, mini
carousel and pony rides for the kids. The South African Disabled Riders
Association will be on site to give advice to any disabled person wishing
to go horse riding.”
A variety of interesting and different foods
will be available to suite any hungry visitor to the Fair and a fully
stocked, undercover beer garden will be on offer.
The Fair will be showcasing some of the Cape's
finest entertainment talents such as Déjà Vu, Hot Water, Crystal Clear,
Southside, the Three Tenors from Guguletu, Carol Leigh, the Belhar Music
Collective, Stars inc. and the youngest singer in Cape Town, 10-year-old
Joan from Maitland, who will be performing “Shakira”.
On Saturday morning, the Cape Minstrels will be
parading in the carnival area before leaving for their competition on the
Cape Flats and late Saturday night, the Cape's most popular party band
Stavro Michel and Tuxedo will take to the stage and party until the event
shuts down.
In addition, one of the biggest highlights of
the event will be the Ms Constantia Fair 2007 Beauty Pageant, where the
winner stands to walk away with prizes worth over R10 000.
The fair will also have an
informal traders arena where countless goodies will be available for sale
such as jewellery, clothing, beadwork, soaps and much more.
