The Pinelands Carnival returns after an absence of almost 10
years.
Some of the attractions at this years event include a
carnival area with exciting rides from All Africa Amusements. A variety
of interesting and different foods will be available to suite any hungry
visitor to the Fair and a fully stocked, undercover beer garden will be on
offer as well as a tea garden for those interested.
The Fair will be showcasing some of the Cape's finest
entertainment talents such as Déjà Vu, current leading South African boy
band, The Great Pretenders, the Yugoslavian Bellydancing Company and the
sunshine entertainers, amongst others.
In addition, one of the biggest
highlights of the event will be the Mr and Miss Pinelands competition as
well as the Glamorous Granny and the Parent and Child competitions with
lots of exciting prizes to be won.
The fair will also have an informal
traders arena where countless goodies will be available for sale such as
jewellery, clothing, beadwork, soaps and much more.
