Outodidak will be presented at the Artscape Arena from 8 to 24 October and is a satirical work that plays havoc with the pretensions of “self-realisation” and the self-appointed “pop life-philosophers” of our time.  Lubbe, an orphan who has become extremely wealthy cannot sleep.  Yvette, his wife, makes an appointment for him with Stols, a smooth salesman, who becomes a specialist guru on demand.
The play is directed by well-known Afrikaans writer and director, Gideon van Eeden and stars Jeroen Kranenburg, Geon Nel and Bronwyn van Graan. Designs are by Dicky Longhurst with lighting design by Kobus Rossouw.
