THEATRE

Liberocco

Venue: Roxy Revue Bar, GrandWest, Goodwood.  Tel: (021) 505 7777.
Time: Wed - Sat @ 8:30pm
Price: R67
Performances: 6 Sep - 13 Oct 2007
Genre: Cabaret
Showy, flashy, ostentatious, garish, sensational, vivid.  These are all words that apply to piano maestro Liberace, the original 'King of Bling' and arguably the most flamboyant entertainer of the century.

Experience Liberace, his furs, his rings, his candelabra, and above all, his beautiful music in the tribute show Liberocco.

The musical line up includes the Warsaw Concerto, Rhapsody in Blue, Jealousy Tango, Moonlight Sonata, Chopsticks, the Tango from the film Scent of a Woman and many more appropriately 'diamond draped' Liberace tunes.

Popular pianist Rocco de Villiers has produced a superb script and musical arrangements complimented by direction from the ever professional Tobie Cronje and choreography by Elton Fortune.
