The true story of the romance between George Bernard Shaw and Mrs. Patrick Campbell, which lasted for 40 years. They dominated the English theatre for the first half of the 20th century, he, as an intellectual giant and writer and she, a beautiful, talented actress.
This play is the scandalous, witty and intriguing story of that relationship told through their correspondence. Dear Liar first starred Jerome Kilty and his wife Cavada Humphrey. It opened on Broadway and ran for three years before transferring to the London for a two years. The show then went onto to play around the world.

This Cape Town-only season, has West End stars Gary Raymond and Delena Kidd as George Bernard Shaw and Mrs. Patrick Campbell
Gary Raymond is best known for major Hollywood roles in "Look Back In Anger", "El Cid", "Jason and the Argonauts", as St Peter in "The Greatest Story Ever Told" and in the title role in "The Playboy of the Western World".
His wife and co-star Delena Kidd has a cult following for roles in "The Avengers" and "Danger Man".
