Chill out at a 90s flashback dance party featuring the original American kings of cool, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer and German Eurodance group Snap!

Vanilla Ice
Texas rapper Robert van Winkle, better known to his legion of fans as Vanilla Ice, is best remembered for his hit single "Ice ice baby" which became the first hip hop single to go to number one on the US Billboard charts, and tracks such as Play that funky music, It’s a party and Dancin.  Credited as being one of the earliest white rappers to attain major success, his current live performances feature a mix of his old hits as well as new material with a rock and old school hip hop influence, which he performs together with a live drummer and DJ.  He describes his performances as “high energy ... a crazy party atmosphere.”

MC Hammer
Stanley Burrell, the Californian rapper, preacher, actor, flamboyant dancer and entrepreneur burst onto the music scene in 1986 under the pseudonym MC Hammer.  He achieved phenomenal success with hit tracks such as U can’t touch this, Have you seen her, Pray, Too legit to quit, Addams Groove and Pumps and a bump.  Widely regarded as the forefather of pop rap, Hammer was the first hip hop artist to enjoy diamond status.  His album Please Hammer, don’t hurt ‘em became the first rap recording to reach number one on the US pop charts, where it remained for 21 weeks.  Since then, he has won three Grammy’s and eight American Music Awards, and has sold an astonishing 50 million records.  He was also awarded a Living Legends of Hip Hop award in 2008.  As a Christian and one time preacher, Hammer dedicates at least one song on each album to God.

Snap Turbo B!
German electronic pop group Snap! first hit the charts with their track The Power, going to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first rap single to top the UK charts at number one.  This success was rapidly followed by other hits but the Eurodance project’s biggest smash hit remains Rhythm is a dancer which was released in 1992.  The dance track peaked at number five on the US Billboard charts at number one in Britain and other countries around the world.  In June 2010 they performed at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
