Le Bonheur kicks off 2013 with a line-up of South African films starting on the last Friday in January.
At R125 per person, guests can make the most of their month-end visits to the wine estate with a movie, dinner and delicious wine.
The film series starts on January 25 with Paljas, a 1998 Afrikaans drama written by local novelist Chris Barnard and directed by his wife, Katinka Heyns. The result of their latest collaboration is the highly rated Die Wonderwerker, based on the life of Eugene Marais. Paljas is set in the Karoo and tells the story of a station master whose life is changed when a travelling circus leaves a clown behind in the town.
Shows start at 6:30pm and costs R125 per person for the film, dinner and wine or R45 for the film and wine only. Soft drinks and hot beverages are also available.
Le Bonheur wine estate is on the R44 towards Paarl (opposite Wiesenhof) and bookings can be made with Katja Ruppel on 021 875 5478 or [email protected].
