What better way to enjoy three days of jazz music than a Jazz on the Rocks festival inside a pristine reserve with the ocean only metres away?

The 2013 Jazz on the Rocks music festival will combine all the elements of outdoor living – camping, sun and  sea - in a pristine setting in the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve. Tietiesbaai, a 90 minute drive from Cape Town, is an untarnished stretch of beach in the Reserve.

Established by Heart 104.9 Presenter, Clarence Ford, in 2004, Jazz on the Rocks has been a hit from the start and this year is sponsored by Nedbank, Old Mutual, The Saldanha Bay Municipality, SA Tourism, WESGRO, The Department of Environmental Affairs, SON, NASPERS, Heart 104.9, JTI and the Western Cape Government.
Jazz on the Rocks is safe, family friendly with tons of activities for the kids including sand castle competitions, beach games and much more.  An integrated approach with the NSRI, Police and Disaster management has enabled an incident free event to date.
Locals will prepare delectable West Coast dishes, commensurate with the unspoilt beauty of the Reserve and the spectacular setting sun as the backdrop.
