These musicians usually perform in clubs and bars which are out of bounds for school pupils. The target market for this event is not only aimed at Herzlia and other school pupils, but is also aimed at their families and promoted as a fun family day. There is also an opportunity to win a helicopter ride over Cape Town's magnificent landscape. A wide variety of food and soft drinks will be on sale throughout the day although concert goers can bring their own picnic baskets, low folding chairs and blankets. There is secure off street and adjacent field parking, a ‘kids’ corner staffed by professional child carers, professional security and medics on site as well as toilets and facilities for the disabled.
Tickets cost R65 while children under 4 years go in free. Book at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers outlets. There will be a Computicket outlet at the gate from 1.30pm if you wish to purchase your tickets on the day.
