Clarence Ford's popular Sunday radio show on Heart 104.9 goes live on stage at the Baxter this festive season.
Ford brings his love of fine music to the stage this summer in his selection of timeless classics, brought to life by a hugely talented cast. Alistair Izobell, along with Nur Abrahams, Edith Plaatjies, Aleshia Solomons and an amazing seven piece band will perform Radio Classics chosen by Clarence.
Alistair Izobell has been in the industry for the past 26 years and has been part of over 36 shows /productions, performing, acting, singing and directing in Cape Town and around the globe. Izobell is an accomplished pianist and recently produced the sold out “Music Alla Kaap” shows at the GrandWest Arena. He also performed in his very successful production “Vocal is Lekka” at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest this August.
The show is directed by David Kramer and runs from 22nd November to the 5th January 2013. Performances are Tuesday to Friday at 8pm and Saturdays at 5pm and 8.30pm. Ticket prices range from R125 to R150. A special New Years Eve performance takes place on 31 December at 9pm. Special previews are on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th Nov with all seats at R110.
