Celebrate the first weekend of spring at Hartenberg Wine Estate with a delicious meal and award winning wines in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands.
On the 2nd of September guests can look forward to a three course meal starting off with smoked Franschhoek salmon trout with dill salad or a scrumptious spring pea soup. A juicy rack of Karoo lamb or leek and artichoke tart served with spring vegetables will follow suit with decadent mixed berry creme brûlée ending off a perfect laid back Sunday. Whilst the adults enjoy this delightful meal the younger generation will delight in simply delicious tomato and cheese pasta with a yummy vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate sauce.
With a wide variety of entertainment, from a sandpit, jungle gym and trampoline for the little ones to boules or croquet for adults, Hartenberg offers the whole family something extra to look forward to on their first revitalising steps into spring.
Hartenberg’s mouthwatering Lazy Sunday Lunches take place on the last Sunday of the month. The lunches cost R180 per person or R45 for children under 12 and are served between 12h00 and 14h00. All the food is prepared by Hartenberg’s trained staff who take great pride in their food offerings. Hartenberg uses home grown herbs and salads and supports local producers of fine artisanal cheeses, cold meats, breads and olives.
