Hitting the Bay Harbour Sound Stage on November 16 is world renowned saxophonist and jazz musician Dan Shout along with his talented band the Dan SHOUT Quartet. Born in Zimbabwe, raised in Namibia and educated in South Africa, the diverse musical influences Dan has experienced in his life reveal themselves in his original compositions.

Dan’s musical journey started many years before when he studied clarinet, piano and saxophone at the South African College School (SACS). He has since gone on to graduate with a Masters Degree in June 2006, and was subsequently awarded, the post of alto and soprano saxophones, keyboard and backing vocals in Johnny Clegg’s band.

Entertaining audiences on Saturday November 17 is former Kubu Strings legend Pierre Fourie. Pierre’s passion and love for the guitar spans over 20 years, he started playing Flamenco guitar at the age of 18 and was inspired by the Gipsy Kings and Paco de Lucia. Don’t miss this incomparable artist!
