Description

BRUNDYN + GONSALVES are pleased to present ‘Material / Representation’, a summer exhibition diverging between two thematic streams; Materiality and Representation. Without explicitly dichotomizing, the selection of artists has been informed by the prominence of one of these two streams within their production. Viewed in this way, emphasis is placed on the idiosyncratic ways in which each artist has applied these themes to their work (what could be called their “material representation”) allowing these traits to come to the fore.
