Description
Award-winning artist Godfrey Johnson has performed over 20 one man shows nationally and internationally. He has worked for many years as a musician, director and composer and accompanied Pieter-Dirk Uys in his various cabarets. Godfrey won the 2007 Fleur du Cap award for Best Performance in a Cabaret for his work in Kissed by Brel and his many other performances include shows such as Uncut, Flirting with Coward, Behind Every Man, Season in The Sun, The Shadow of Brel, Stories of Crimes and Passion, The Minnie and Johnson Show and Coward & Cole. Spend an evening at Kalk Bay Theatre in the company of this extraordinary artist, as each night he presents a different selection from his acclaimed repertoire of shows. Guests can enjoy a delicious pre-show dinner by Funkie Chef, Hannah MacMahon, with coffee and dessert after the show when they can meet the performers.

Description
The Kalk Bay Theatre (KBT) is a 78-seater theatre situated in the old Kalk Bay Dutch Reformed Church. Built in 1876, it is a heritage protected building which has been lovingly converted into an intimate theatre with a bar area serving light meals, snacks and drinks on the upper floor. KBT offers a unique night of entertainment - theatre, sustenance and quality time with friends all under the same roof.
Patrons arrive from 18h00 and, after reserving their theatre seats, are directed upstairs to the bar area. Those wanting food can “cherry-pick” dishes off the menu, allowing you to decide how much you want to spend/eat on the evening. The menu is vegetarian friendly and other specific dietary requirements will, wherever possible, be catered for provided advance warning is given. KBT is licensed and corkage is charged at R25 per bottle.
