Description
Alan has performed one man Pink Floyd music show at various small venues in and around Cape Town since as longs as ago as 2002 when the earlier intimate “Floydian Slips” shows were performed at the Grahamstown Festival. Alan now plays simply with Solo Electric and Acoustic Guitars. At these gigs Alan will perform the music from the Pink Floyd album “The Dark Side of the Moon” but the man is a walking encylopedia on the band and will have many anecdotes and historical footnotes to add in.
Some say it’s impossible to do Pink Floyd as a one man show – come and watch Alan prove them wrong.

Guests can enjoy a delicious pre-show dinner by Funkie Chef, Hannah MacMahon, with coffee and dessert after the show when they can meet the performers.

Description
The Kalk Bay Theatre (KBT) is a 78-seater theatre situated in the old Kalk Bay Dutch Reformed Church. Built in 1876, it is a heritage protected building which has been lovingly converted into an intimate theatre with a bar area serving light meals, snacks and drinks on the upper floor. KBT offers a unique night of entertainment - theatre, sustenance and quality time with friends all under the same roof.
Patrons arrive from 18h00 and, after reserving their theatre seats, are directed upstairs to the bar area. Those wanting food can “cherry-pick” dishes off the menu, allowing you to decide how much you want to spend/eat on the evening. The menu is vegetarian friendly and other specific dietary requirements will, wherever possible, be catered for provided advance warning is given. KBT is licensed and corkage is charged at R25 per bottle.
