Everybody’s favourite little friend, Noddy, is back at the Artscape Theate during the June/July holidays.

By popular demand and for eight shows only, Godfrey Johnson returns to Kalk Bay Theatre to perform The Shadow of Brel from 29 June to 9 July.

The Cape Academy of Performing Arts (CAPA), renowned for its superior training in dance, drama and voice over the past 25 years, is presenting What a Wonderful World under the direction of Debbie Turner in collaboration with Jacqui Pells and Nathalie Vijver.

After a sold-out national tour leaving many a funny bone shattered in his comedy wake, Kurt Schoonraad returns to the Baxter Theatre with his one man comedy show Home Groan.

This delightful, warm and amusing musical, which Die Burger described as “Lekker soos vars snoek”,  presents a slice of life of Tommy the Kalk Bay fisherman.

Artscape’s 57th Shakespeare’s production, The Taming of the Shrew, opens at the Maynardville Open-Air Theatre on 15 January 2011.
