Drostdy-Hof is kick-starting the festive season with an annual market day on 10 November.
Intended for the whole family, the market at the beautiful De Oude Drostdy in Tulbagh promises to show South Africa’s second oldest town at its fun and countryside best with a carefully selected range of mostly handmade products, crafts and delectable eats to attract a wide range of shopping enthusiasts, especially those on the gifting trail.
Visitors can sample freshly baked goods and wraps to cater to the heartiest and most discerning appetites and choose from aloe products, print canvases and many other items to the strains of great live music, while sipping on delicious Drostdy-Hof wines. Stalls will be set up on the beautiful Cape Dutch style museum and also on the grounds outside, while, a jumping castle will keep the kids happy and occupied. The market opens at 10:00 and continues till 15:00.
