The daily programme of the CTBF will see gates open at 11am with the bike & lifestyle expo, bike-building competition, food & wine village and beer garden while the first event on the track will include Supercross heats, followed by Junior MX races and the electrifying Brian Capper Stunt show. The first band performs at 2pm followed by Supercross heats finals with the second music artist of the day at 3pm. A celebrity scooter jam takes place at 5pm followed by a reprise of Brian Capper’s Stunt Show and a third band performing at 7pm before the introduction to Ms Biker finalists (the winner of which will be announced on Saturday December 17).
The headline music artist or band for the night performs at 9pm, followed by freestyle dare-devils, Masters of Dirt, who will perform nightly in an extravaganza of logic-defying, spectacular jump displays (along with a fireworks and lighting show) unlike anything seen on two wheels on the African continent. Specially constructed for the CTBF, the Masters of Dirt course includes two massive, launching ramps which will launch FMX and Quad bikers up to 15 metres above the stadium floor, with two 4.5m high landing ramps giving the Masters of Dirt just 15m of braking area before they reach the stadium wall. The Cape Town Bike Festival, including all exhibitions and food & beverage outlets will close nightly at 11pm allowing the dust to settle before another day of exciting happenings at the Cape Town Stadium.
