Clos Malverne, renowned for its classic flagship Cape Blends, has plenty on offer for wine enthusiasts who are looking for a more hands-on encounter with the winemakers during the upcoming Stellenbosch Wine Week and 10th Stellenbosch Wine Festival.

From 22 till 31 July you can blend and bottle your very own Cape Blend with winemaker Suzanne Coetzee at Clos Malverne, which celebrates 25 years of quality winemaking in the heart of the Devon Valley this year. These daily blending sessions on offer twice a day at 10am and 2pm, include the bottle of wine for you to take home along with a photograph of you in action in the cellar.

If you feel like some rest and relaxation after your hard work in the cellar, pamper body and soul with an invigorating Cabernet and Pinotage grape seed body scrub and massage at The Spa @ Clos Malverne.

Celebrating the marriage of good food and wine, The Restaurant @ Clos Malverne, set amidst the vineyards, will offer a unique Cape Blend and Food experience, exclusive to the Stellenbosch Wine Week only. Chef Nadia Smith Louw will whet appetites with her mouth-watering 4-course pairing menu of estate Cape Blends and traditional Cape inspired food.

Clos Malverne is one of 150 farms that form the Stellenbosch American Express R Wine Routes - which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year - and will be pulling out all the stops during the Stellenbosch Wine Week which culminates with the 10th annual Stellenbosch Wine Festival. The festival will be held at the Paul Roos Centre from 28 to 31 July.

The Clos Malverne blending session costs R70 per person, the 30 minutes session of R&R in the spa costs R200 per person and the 4-course food and wine indulgence costs R148 per head. If you book for all three activities you only pay R380 for the entire Clos Malverne experience.
